The Wallingford owned Dunkin Donuts helps the Wallingford Fireworks Fund kick off their 2012 collection drive

As a recap to yesterday’s post I wanted to again call out the Wallingford Dunkin Donuts locations – South Colony Road, North Colony Road and in Yalesville on Route 150 (Main Street) for allowing us the dates to stand and collect for the 2012 Wallingford Fireworks Celebration.

We are still looking for a major sponsor to name the event after – if you’re a business or even an individual that can or wants to participate at this level you can find out more about the Wallingford Fireworks 2012 Celebration Naming Convention Sponsor level and other sponsorship opportunities in our prior post.

At the same time – we still need help for the collections. If you have availability to stand out and collect donations it would be a huge help to us.

We are still looking for volunteers for the following dates and locations (weather permitting):

Thursday March 1st from 6:30 to about 9:30 (two locations / two volunteers)
Friday March 2nd from 6:30 to about 9:30 (two locations / two volunteers)
Saturday March 3rd from 6:30 to about 9:30 (two locations / two volunteers)

We are also looking for two additional volunteers on Saturday March 3rd from 8:00 to about noon at the landfill and the recycling center.

If you have the time available to stand and collect for us please reach out and get in touch with myself via Jason@Zandri.net

We need all the help we can get this year – it went right down to the wire in 2011 and it isn’t going to be any easier this year.

Please help us keep this decades old annual Wallingford celebration alive through fundraising for a third straight year.

Anyone wishing to make an outright donation can do so by sending in a check:

Thanks again – we hope to be able to continue to be able to count on your support for the 2012 season.
